You can apply to join the SSA by completing the online application form using the buttons below. Once we have received all required details and your payment, your application will be considered by the Trustees and we will write to formally confirm your membership.
The SSA has an international membership and is open to individual practitioners, researchers and policymakers with appropriate academic or professional qualifications or experience* in the addiction field.
(*12 months’ experience minimum expected.)
For a reduced fee of £25, the SSA offers concessionary membership to those who have retired, are unwaged or have ended their academic studies in the past five years*.(*former SSA student associates only)
